As you may be aware, 2011 marks the 400^th Anniversary of the Scots Box. In 1611 the Scots Box, which we have a replica of in the office, was used by wealthier Scots to place money which would then be dispersed to the needy.

Obviously we have moved on dramatically since then, the recent move to the new fit for purpose office in Moorgate being the latest step to improve our service to our clients. The basic desire to help the Scots in London who need it most though remains the same now as it did all of those years ago.

We will keep you up to date with activities throughout this special year but we would also ask that you use this opportunity to hold your own events in celebration of this anniversary. We have posters, cards and banners which we can supply for you and we can also organise for someone to come and speak about the charity at your event.
