I was born in Glasgow and go “home” a couple of times a year to visit family and old friends.

Blether Buddies is a scheme where clients aged 60+ receive regular phone calls or visits from ScotsCare volunteers. Whilst the telephone service has been running successfully for a number of years, the home visits have recently started in the boroughs of Camden and Islington (and we hope to extend to other boroughs soon).
New Horizon Youth Centre is a day centre working with young people who are vulnerable, homeless or at risk. New Horizon Youth Centre aims to enable young people to gain skills and knowledge to improve their life chances and to help them move from adolescence into adulthood.
Following its New York transfer and sell-out run at the Edinburgh Festival last year, Olivier Award-winning playwright David Harrower (Blackbird, Knives in Hens), brings his latest critically acclaimed production to London.
Welcome to the first new-look ScotsCare Shout of the year. We hope you had a relaxing Christmas and New Year, whether in London, back in Scotland or further afield. We also hope that you enjoy keeping up-to-date with all of our activities over the year ahead.
We ended the 400th Anniversary Year on a high by celebrating St Andrew’s Day at the House of Commons as guests of Pete Wishart MP. 165 ScotsCare supporters, donors and guests attended the St Andrew’s dinner on the 1st of December.
