ScotsCare’s Annual Review for 2017 shows that a major focus of our work has been children and families, albeit certainly not the only one. We are dedicated to helping all Scots in London who need emotional, practical and financial support.
However, by investing in more support for families, we are working with our clients to ensure that their children have the opportunity to achieve their potential and a brighter future.
The emotional wellbeing of our clients is important to us and we have found that our counselling service is getting good results from those who access it.
This past year we have expanded our advocacy service as the economic climate and government benefit programmes change. It can be reassuring to know that there is someone in your corner, helping with the challenges in a range of areas such as benefit assessments, appeals and housing issues, among others.
ScotsCare is a socially active organisation and we are pleased that so many people enjoy our activities and outings for all ages throughout the year, which we aim to expand on in the coming year.
We look forward to the challenge of reaching more Scots and their families to provide the services and support they need to improve their quality of life.
